Known for his portraits and reproductions of paintings and allegorical works, he worked with major publishers and depicted many notable figures of his time. Biography artist: Raymond de Lafage (1656-1684) was a French artist known for his virtuoso pen drawings and mythological compositions. Despite his short life, he gained a reputation for imaginative scenes with dynamic, muscular figures and classical themes.
