Description These billet aluminum pedestals provide better shaft support to prevent shaft breakage. The shaft is clamped tightly in place when the mounting hold-down nuts are tightened. The end wing supports and clamps the end of the shaft. A set includes two end pedestals and two intermediate pedestals. Pedestal sets are available in two different shaft heights: 1.53 inches positions the shaft at the same height as the original pedestals. 1.61 inches positions the shaft about .080″ higher than the original pedestals for better roller to valve stem geometry when used with Good Parts roller rockers. Longer push rods may be required.
