Camburg 03-24 Toyota 4-Runner/FJ 2.5 Front Slapper Bump Stop Mount Kit Only

Introducing our 2.5 Slapper Bump Stop kit, designed for easy installation on our NEW Trail Series long-travel kit or stock length performance lower arms. This kit enhances strength and rigidity by double shearing the upper arm frame pivots. It offers a non-UCA gusset version for simpler installations, including a weld-on frame mount for the bump stop. Adding a bump stop improves control and bottoming resistance, providing a soft plush ride through small obstacles while preventing bottoming out on bigger hits and g-outs. The slapper arm setup allows the air bump to strike further outboard on the lower arm, making it more effective and efficient. The motion ratio geometry remains consistent, ensuring constant contact with the lower arm and preventing the bump stop from swiping it. The bump stop only engages during bottoming, allowing free movement in the “ride zone” for a more active suspension. The slapper arm design incorporates a rubber pad to reduce noise upon contact. Our kit is designed for custom FOX or King 2.5 bump stops, featuring a high-performance cerakoted gray coating used in FOX’s trophy truck race shocks. Aircraft AN bolts are supplied for maximum strength, and the mounts come raw for welding. We recommend applying black Steel-IT after welding. Please note that welding, cutting, and grinding are required for installation, and this kit is specifically designed for our Trail Series L/T kit and stock length slapper compatible lower arms, not our Race Series L/T kit.
