Description Certified Organic These Certified Organic hazelnuts are grown in Turkey. Ingredients: certified organic Hazelnuts, Himalayan crystal salt, filtered water. Activated – like all seeds, nuts contain protective compounds (phytic acids and enzyme inhibitors) to ensure successful germination. These are indigestible to us. We soak the nuts in filtered water with Himalayan crystal salt, mimicking germination, thereby breaking down the indigestible compounds to simple ones that we can digest. They are then dried at a low temperature keeping the nutrients intact and preserving fats and proteins. Hazelnuts – Great source of fibre & healthy monounsaturated fats, very high content of Proanthocyanidins (PACs) – a super potent antioxidant, rich in Vitamin E & A, high in manganese, magnesium & iron, and provide high levels of Vitamin C, B6, thiamin & folate.
